your papa says he knows that i don't have any money.

i covered a some of the berkshire hathaway stuff this weekend in omaha. it's always a lot crazy. thousands of people fly in from all over the world to hang out and listen to warren buffett pontificate. you would not believe how much pushing and positioning is done by upper-crust folks just to take a photo of the back of warren's head with their cell phone or iphone.

then there's this guy:


i'm jealous because he likely got a better shot than me. also... i've been trying to score a good deal on a camera like that for a while.

the smartest fella i met was this guy from cnbc. we had to get to the risers about three hours before warren showed up to get our spots staked out.

Yay film! Love those big negatives - I used a cheap Pearl River for years, til I managed to break it. I had it for a decade and it was only $75.

There's a store in Phoenix that has a cabinet full of Rolleiflexes. I'd be happy to pick one up for you and ship it.
