it is now open windows season. my favorite time of year. i will miss how good gin and tonics taste on a hot day. another thing i will miss is all the good the produce.
Matt bought the house on Archer Avenue in the winter of his thirty-fifth year. Over the next decade, he and his wife had three children and then they separated. They were never legally divorced.
Virtually all memory of the brilliance of Matt had been erased by two decades of betrayal, failure and disaster.
Matt died tragically rescuing his family from the wreckage of a destroyed sinking battleship.

no pomegranates. heh. it was a small grocery in elk horn, iowa. they did have lots of danish meats and cheeses and rye bread and stuff like that.
When you don't control the heat in your apartment (like us), all year long is "open windows season".
Oh, and nice melons.
