a desert of snow

being an oasis in rushville means than can overcharge-- like more than eight bucks for a salad (without meat). and i guess they figure if they plow the snow in the parking lot when no one is looking, they can get even more money.

stuck inside of valentine with the memphis blues again.

i am up in valentine. waited all day for the snow to start falling. and then it just kept going and going and going. for those outside of the know, valentine is a beautiful town on the niobrara river. it is the romantic capital of our fair state. the street signs have hearts. they have special feb 14 events. someone paints hearts on their sidewalks.

it took a bit, but i got the ice up to see one of them.
